Voltane

Credits, licences and notices

Voltane is built from public data. These are the sources, the credit each one asks for, and the licence it is used under. The same credits appear on the maps, in printed reports and in exports.

Landowners

Voltane does not publish landowner names. Where parcel data is used, Voltane shows derived signals instead (for example single owner or owner type), never names or mailing addresses.

Transmission data vintage

LBNL harmonized transmission lines (through 2024) with the HIFLD transmission snapshot of 2024-09-30 (final public release; HIFLD Open shut down in Aug 2025). Lines built since may be missing.
