What Voltane does
Voltane screens land and sites for grid access, so developers, land teams, utility planners and infrastructure investors can find where to build next. It is built from public data and is in private beta.
- Parcel-level search in Texas, Virginia, Ohio and Indiana: parcels ranked for solar + storage by land, hazard signals and grid access (a proxy for grid room, not available capacity).
- US nuclear candidate sites for microreactors, SMRs and large reactors at former and retiring coal plants, nuclear plant sites and federal sites.
- Europe: 30 countries, screened for solar + storage, battery, data center and nuclear siting.
- Ask Voltane: an AI analyst built into the map that answers from Voltane's own data.
Data centers are community-mapped (OpenStreetMap and Epoch AI) and not exhaustive. How the screening works, and what a score cannot tell you: How Voltane works.
