Changelog
What changed in Voltane, and when.
A new home page, and a locked app
voltane.co became the home of Voltane, with a new landing page. Everything behind the sign-in, from the maps to the data, now stays closed to anyone not signed in.
Data centers as anchors
Click any data center on either map to see what it is, the sites and grid around it, and find sites within a radius of it. Voltane Nuclear now shows Epoch AI's data centers next to OpenStreetMap's, and Ask Voltane answers data-center questions.
Voltane Research
Research opens to the public: sourced analysis built on Voltane's data. Voltane Nuclear's load-proximity score now counts Epoch AI's data centers alongside OpenStreetMap's, including more placed by hand from state permits.
A new interface, a faster map and Ask Voltane
One top bar replaced the sidebar, every filter moved into one panel with removable chips, and the map got faster to open and to move. Ask Voltane, an analyst built into the app, answers questions from Voltane's own data and changes the view for you.
A lighter design
The whole product moved to a light, white-based design, with the map, panels and reports in one visual system.
Screening only — not a site suitability determination.
See it on your own sites
Voltane screens land, grid and data-center proximity for power development: Texas parcel search and US nuclear site screening today, in private beta.
